In billets, Thurs. 10.15pm
Just a short note to give you a big hug and a kiss. We were relieved in the trenches this morning. This afternoon I have been over to see the CO & so have been busy.
I’m very fit DG & hope, please God, that you are too. I’ll write at length to-morrow. Till then au revoir & God be with you, darling of my heart…
